Belyndar Maonia Rikimani is a member of Pacific Islands Students Fighting Climate Change and a young climate activist from the Solomon Islands. After witnessing the impacts of climate change of her home Island in the Solomon Islands, she is dedicating her life to educate, empower and advocate on this threatening issue of Climate Crisis to her people. Maria is a 19-year-old queer woman, Mexican, ecofeminist, full-time climate and human rights activist at FFF International and FFF MAPA (Most Affected People and Areas). She is also a leading member of the Feminist Action for Climate Justice Coalition of the UN Women Generation Equality Forum. She fights for a systemic and intersectional change that prioritizes the well-being of the most vulnerable communities in the face of the Climate Crisis.
